Dari Dapur Bonda #1

Assalamualaikum..

Whats up to all cake monsters!!hahaha.. To those who love to eat and bake cakes, ok today Bonda nak share recipe cake that i baked yesterday.







Ok ace acu cuba try test teka ni kek apa? Apa? Cheese cake? Dh close, almost there, try guess again. Apa? Durian cake?? Owh no sayang. This is carrot cake, with cream cheese frosting!! yum yum yum sedap and you all have to try!! 100% fully recommended. Tapi kalau you all malas or ada problem such as no oven ke, then its ok. You can buy this cake at secret recipe bahagian brownies tu. Tapi yang ruginya kalau you all beli instead of bake sendiri is that, if you bake, the taste will be better la because you will add in another two extra ingredients which is sincerity (keikhlasan) and love (kasih sayang). Kek-kek kat mana-mana kedai tak akan letaknya kedua-dua ingredient ni even kek kat secret recipe skali pun. So why not spend some of your time and bake this cake for your dearest family. Kan lagi sweet macam tu. At least you can spend your quality time with your family in different way, ajak la abang you all yang asyik-asyik terperuk dalam bilik ke, kakak yang tak habis-habis duk picit jerawat ke, or adik-adik korang yang nakal-nakal tu tolong skali sedikit sebanyak. Once n a while, tak salahkan. Then biarkan mak and ayah korang berhoney moon kat living room. hahaha..




Haaa nampak sedap kan. Actually i got this recipe from My Resipi, so thanks to Kak Ishikawa Ayumi sebab sudi share resepi ni. And seriously rasanya memang lagi best, lagi sedap, lagi kaw, lagi ummppphhh berbanding yang kat secret recipe. Hahaha so secret recipe, your cake's recipe no longer secret la. So, terliur tak bila tengok gambar kek ni? Kalau terliur then apa lagi, rajin-rajinkan lah diri anda untuk ke kedai dan beli lah apa yang patut kalau bahan-bahan kat rumah tak mencukupi and start baking!

These are the things that you needed to bake this awesome, extremely delicious cake :

Bahagian Kek


  • 1 1/4 cup minyak jagung (minyak masak biasa pun boleh)
  • 4 biji telur gred B
  • 120 gm gula castor
  • 120 gm gula perang
  • 100 gm walnut cincang ( panggang sebentar)
  • 250 gm tepung high protein (tepung gandum pun ok)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp garam
  • 1/4 serbuk kulit kayu manis (boleh lebihkan kalau suka)
  • 1 1/2 cup carrot yg telah disagat
  • 1 cup golden raisin (or any dried fruits)
  • 1 tbs susu pekat (untuk moist - pilihan)

Bahagian cream cheese frosting


  • 120gm gula icing
  • 250gm cream cheese
  • 120gm unsalted butter (butter biasa pun boleh) 

Simple je kan bahan-bahannya. So these are the steps for the cake:
  1. Pukul telur dan gula hingga kembang. Masukkan minyak, sebatikan.
  2. Kemudian, masukkah bahan-bahan kering yang telah diayak (tepung, baking soda, serbuk kulit kayu manis dan garam). Kaup balik dengan senduk kayu.
  3. Akhir sekali, masukkan carrot, raisins. Gaul sebati.
  4. Masukkan dlm loyang 9 inci yang telah di alas kertas minyak. Bakar selama 45 minit pada suhu 180C. Guna lidi utk pastikan dalam kek masak.
    Bila kek sudah masak, keluarkan dari oven dan sejukkan sebentar. 

For cream cheese frosting pulak, these are the steps :

  1. Masukkan cream cheese, gula icing yg telah diayak, dan butter ke dalam food processor (FP). guna blender pun ok. Blend kan semua, dan sapukan di atas kek. Since Bonda malas nak guna blender sebab bunyinya yang bising, i just simply gaulkan dalam mangkuk je.
P/S : untuk lebih sedap, chill kan semalaman.
